Now that the peak of summer is over, I think it’s time to start up with Finger on the Pulse postings again. During my research this week, I’ve found a majority of the conversations have been about B2B (business-to-business) marketing.

How to Make B2B Content More Shareable
This post suggests that you shouldn’t base your marketing strategy around the mantra, “if you build it they will come.” It breaks down the best way to share content via each medium: Facebook, Pinterest, Twitter, Google+, and LinkedIn. One tip that I’ll be using going forward is to make sure you tag others when you share on Google +; this alerts them the content might be relevant to them or is about them.

This post covers how B2B marketers can use forums to drive sales and generate leads. Suggestions include becoming part of the conversation, becoming a link miner, not a link farmer, and starting your own Q&A.
